Overview

This position will be responsible for managing the South American destination shipments 2nd leg flight connection. Provide support to Sales team with planning, allocations, customer service-related matters, tracking and reporting flight performance. 

Responsibilities

  • Closely monitor flights to ensure optimal aircraft utilization.
  • Track all forwarded cargoes to final South America destination via air. Coordinate truck movement with overseas operations if necessary.
  • Trace missing cargo and follow up on tracers. Provide freight status alert and support customer calls.
  • Create a regular communication channel with Atlas MIA station on the allocations and tracking updates. 
  • Provide irregular virtual calls with overseas offices if necessary.
  • High competence with the scheduled service operating system Cargospot and flight schedule system AIMS.
  • Help analyzing and resolving root causes of issues impacting scheduled service.
  • Research local claims and provide documentation to corporate customer service.
  • Respond to customers’ questions, problems, requests, and/or complaints.
  • Coordinate the generation of market data and shipment reports to support operation and analytical need.
  • Prepare post-flight and Flight Revenue reports by station to monitor the performance of operational data entry through analysis in Cargospot. 
  • Coordinate both internally and externally with relative department to ensure effective communication.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work in night shift is necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 1-2 years of equivalent work experience. 
  • Fluent in English, Spanish speaking is preferred.
  • Experience of airline customer service and air cargo industry is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skill and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong ability to manage complex situations under time pressure.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in word processing, spread sheet and data base management.
  • Possess ability to multi-task, work well under pressure & meet deadlines.
