Overview

Responsible for data intelligence and daily operations of network planning activities. For data analysis, gather and maintain a wide array of data and ensure accuracy, define and analyze metrics, and maintain reports that supports critical business decisions which is then communicated to management. Ensure that airport slot regulatory compliance is met, as well as maintaining excellent communication with internal departments and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage airport slots of restricted airports to ensure compliance standards are met.
  • Initiate communication between internal departments and customers to ensure flight schedules are optimally planned and executed.
  • Propose contingency procedures for discrepancies within the scheduled network in order to maintain minimum impact to customers from schedule disruptions.
  • Communicate with all departments for changes and additions against any planned commercial activities (i.e, new customer contract, modified customer contract, new hub, new station, etc.).
  • Draft and implement upon approvals on code-sharing and interline arrangements by coordinating the drafting and agreement of contracts that safeguard the interests of the airline and customers, and communicate clearly and effectively across departments for smooth implementation.
  • Develop and maintain data layouts such as tables, charts and graphs and ensure high data quality through regular quality checks.
  • Prepare for, and host conference calls for the Network Planning and Alliances department.
  • Prepare concise weekly, monthly, yearly & ad-hoc reports along with powerpoint presentations for management review and make fact-based decisions.
  • Provide reporting on schedule and multi-regional performance with high data integrity as requested.
  • Identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities and communicate ideas and viewpoints to Manager Global Network Planning & Alliances
  • 5 day workweek (may include Saturday – Sunday shift) and requirement to monitor and respond to company mobile phone at all times.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Background of high proficiency in MS Excel – proven ability to work with large-scale datasets to formulate tables, reports, powerpoint presentations, and analysis as required.
  • Ability to quickly and efficiently initiate and respond to emails in the English language.
  • Ability to be customer-focused and communicates in a professional manner.
  • Proactively taking ownership of assigned tasks and follow through end to end.
  • Adapt to an extremely fast pace entrepreneurial environment with high rates of growth.
  • Excellent proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including spoken Mandarin and Cantonese
