Overview

Performs duties relating to the loading/unloading of aircraft, flight following, customs and cargo handling to ensure that company meets all company and governmental policies and regulations that customers receive quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and comply day-to-day operations to ensure all safety standards and operational targets are achieved
  • Supervise the handling agents to ensure they are performed as accordance to the company standards
  • Prepare duty roster for Ground Ops team
  • Assist the Managers on all administrative functions
  • Assist the Managers to develop & redefine work processes to improve productivity
  • Train up new joiners and assist in their career development
  • Supervise loading / offloading activities
  • Prepares aircraft cargo documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness and corrects inaccurate and/or incomplete information. Communicates serious issues to management
  • Ensures accuracy and completeness of HAZMAT loading paperwork, notifies crew of location and, if necessary, obtains appropriate approvals prior to take-off
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Managers

Qualifications

Qualifications: 

  • High school education or above is preferable
  • At least 4 years working experience in aviation industry
  • Applies understanding of aircraft positions and heights, aircraft weight limitations and aircraft overhangs, familiar in B767F, B777F and B747Foperations
  • Proficiently utilizes SITA, ULD and Flight systems, screens and software
  • Knows and adheres to company operating policies, operations, processes and procedures appropriate to the job
  • Knows and adheres to aircraft, vehicle and employee safety rules and regulations
  • Understanding and uses air freight, terminal operations and flight terminology and processes
  • Uses ability to track and coordinate multiple issues simultaneously
  • Computer literate
  • Basic math skills
  • W&B and DG certificates are preferable

Special demands:

  • Willing to travel overseas for training, loadmaster supports
  • Adheres to aircraft, vehicle and employee safety rules and regulations
  • Working hours / day off in shift pattern
